To change a booking please reply to your booking confirmation email with your request.

Do I have to wear bowling shoes?

No we allow you to wear your normal shoes but would suggest that stiletto heels are probably not the best choice!

What is the point of escape games?

You are locked in a complex, the clock is set to an hour, and you must work together in a team to solve puzzles and search for clues around the rooms to ultimately work out a door code and escape within the hour.

Who can experience an escape room?

The escape room experience is for people of all ages, backgrounds and genders who love puzzles and interactive challenges. Children under the age of 18 need to be accompanied in the venue at all times and under 14s should be accompanied in the rooms themselves. The adult must be included in the total number booked for the game. Please note that children between 6 months and under 9 years old are not permitted into the games under any circumstances.

How long will the escape room experience last?

The whole experience will last around 80 to 90 minutes. You will spend up to 60 minutes in the room (the maximum given time), however, a short briefing will be made before the game and we would love if, after your escape, you could share your experience with us while we take your photo and answer any of your questions!

Which room should I play and what is the recommended number of players per team?

In Cardiff we have four escape rooms to choose from;

‘Subject 11’ which is themed around the TV series “Stranger Things” (a great family or first timers room), ‘The Runner’ based on the film trilogy” The Maze Runner” (you do not have to have seen either of these programmes / films). Then the infamous ‘Hostage Hostel’ is a bit creepy but not scary – no-one jumps out at you. Finally you can choose ‘Atomic Agency’ which is based in a cold war office and is the most challenging game.

Can pregnant people play the escape games and is it suitable for people who suffer from claustrophobia?

There is very little physical effort required to take part in our games however we must advise that it is entirely at an individuals own risk. Should an individual want to leave this can be done in a matter of seconds.

Are the Karaoke rooms private?

Yes we have 2 private Karaoke rooms available to book, each room can accommodate 15-20 people but you can come and go throughout your booking within the venue to enjoy other activities on offer.
